Backend Developer – Video Platform & Sports Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen our video platform and sports‑analytics team. You will design and build scalable, high‑performance backend services that power real‑time video processing and analytics for professional sports.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain innovative backend solutions for video streaming and analytics.
• Participate in all development phases – architecture, technical design, coding, testing, integration, and support.
• Document code, processes and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with product, video‑processing and cloud teams to deliver reliable, low‑latency services.
• Continuously improve code quality and contribute creative ideas to the development process.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming.
• Rust (optional but valued).
• Video streaming technologies: HLS, UDP, SRT, WebRTC, ffmpeg.
• High‑performance computing, GPU encoding/decoding (NVENC), CDNs.
• Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Cloud platforms (AWS), load balancers and scalability concepts.
• Git, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
