Bar Host – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the team at Constance Halaveli Maldives as a Bar Host, creating memorable beverage experiences for guests in a tropical luxury setting. You will be the friendly face of the bar, ensuring service excellence and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to the bar area, maintaining a warm environment.
• Take, prepare, and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Recommend and upsell beverages based on guest preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash transactions, and process payments.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of bar supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to serve bar snacks and light meals.
• Stay updated on beverage trends and contribute to menu development.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Basic math skills for quick calculations and inventory tasks.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
• Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred.
• Willingness to live and work in the Maldives and flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
