Brand & Visual Identity Designer (Brand Refresh)

About the role

We are an AI‑native recruiting startup building a voice‑first job‑search experience. We need a Brand & Visual Identity Designer to audit our existing brand, refine the visual system, and create distinct identities for two AI agents that power our product.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a brand audit of current assets (logo, color, typography, imagery, UI patterns, tone) and recommend what to keep, evolve, or discard.
• Develop a visual direction that captures the desired vibe through mood boards, reference points, and clear rationale.
• Update the identity system—color palette, type, imagery style, iconography, and key UI components—focused on the jobs website experience.
• Design visual identities for two AI agents, including naming support, avatar/mark, and styling guidelines for chat and voice interactions.
• Produce a lightweight brand guidelines deck (one‑pager or short deck) that documents the refreshed system and AI agent identities for internal use.

Required profile

• Portfolio that demonstrates real brand work with clear identity thinking, not just UI polish.
• Experience refreshing or evolving an existing brand rather than creating a brand from scratch.
• Comfort working within constraints, preserving brand equity while pushing the design forward.
• Bonus: experience designing character or mascot identities and familiarity with B2B/tech or recruiting‑related brands.
