Business Development Manager – Defence (Germany)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of a cutting‑edge aerospace and defence company into the German market. You will own the growth strategy for the defence segment, building relationships with key players and translating market opportunities into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a go‑to‑market plan for the German defence sector.
• Identify, engage and negotiate with strategic partners, OEMs and government agencies.
• Coordinate with the US business development team to align global and local strategies.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to inform product positioning.
• Travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

Required profile

• Strong, established network within the German defence systems market.
• Proven track record in business development or sales of technical products.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Professional fluency in German and English.
