About the role

The Business Development Manager will join the European Business Development team of a leading international law firm in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on driving marketing and business development strategy across the firm’s German practices, supporting revenue growth and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

Lead strategic pitches, RFP responses and client development initiatives.
Design and execute thought‑leadership campaigns, directory submissions and high‑impact marketing events for the German market.
Advise partners on business plans and coordinate client programmes.
Support sector‑led initiatives and strengthen the firm’s market positioning.

Required profile

Strong business development or marketing experience within professional services, preferably legal.
Strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Fluency in German and English.
