Business Development Manager – Sport (Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the sports category on the SHEIN platform. The role sits within the Brands Operations team and focuses on sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with sports‑related wholesalers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential sports suppliers, leveraging existing networks to secure competitive pricing and reliable inventory.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and contract terms to enable both trial purchases and long‑term bulk procurement.
• Analyse EU sports market trends, forecast demand and develop procurement strategies aligned with sales targets.
• Monitor inventory levels, collect customer feedback and adjust sourcing plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with global procurement and cross‑functional teams to streamline logistics and improve supply‑chain KPIs such as on‑time delivery and seller success rate.

Required profile

• 5+ years of procurement, business development or vendor‑management experience in the sports industry.
• Established network of wholesalers and distributors in the EU.
• Deep knowledge of sports wholesale processes and ability to engage suppliers quickly.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and strategic planning skills for both small‑scale and large‑scale purchases.
