Business Development Specialist – Relocate to Malta

About the role

Archer IT Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Specialist to lead the launch of its operations in Malta and the wider European market. You will own the full sales cycle, promote high‑value B2B recruitment services, and help open new partnerships, including a focus on the Swiss pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage decision‑makers in target companies across Europe.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Build and nurture relationships using German and English communication skills.
• Collaborate with senior recruiters and BD leaders to shape market entry strategy.
• Contribute to the creation of a new Malta branch from the ground up.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years experience in outbound sales, prospecting or pipeline management (BDR/SDR).
• Fluent in English and German.
• Motivated to take ownership and drive international growth.
• Willingness to relocate to Malta (EU passport required).
