Buyer – Logistics & Packaging Procurement (m/w/d)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to lead logistics and packaging procurement for our Gigafactory Berlin. Reporting to the Group Manager Logistics & Packaging Procurement, you will drive cost‑effective sourcing while upholding our sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage logistics and packaging procurement categories for the Berlin Gigafactory.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that reduce costs and align with responsible sourcing policies.
• Analyse market trends, supplier performance and cost data to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead negotiations with carriers and packaging suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, finance and other cross‑functional teams to ensure procurement aligns with business objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed procurement reports for data‑driven decision making.
• Establish and maintain a robust Supplier Relationship Management program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in logistics or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in commodity management, strategy development and vendor management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Commitment to sustainable and responsible sourcing practices.
