C++ Developer

About the role

think-cell is looking for a talented C++ Developer to join its international team. You will work on a modern C++ codebase that powers productivity software used by over 1.3 million users worldwide. The role offers flexibility to work from Berlin or remotely within UTC‑1 to UTC+4.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship high‑performance C++ features and algorithms.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team while avoiding unnecessary meetings.
• Maintain and extend low‑level components written in assembler and build scripts in Python.
• Contribute to the evolution of the codebase, including custom range libraries and Boost‑based parsers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest C++ standards and compiler technologies (Visual C++ & Xcode).

Required profile

• Strong C++ programming skills acquired through education or professional experience.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Passion for elegant, efficient algorithms and independent problem solving.
• Excellent command of English; German is not required.
