Category Controller – Finance (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Category Controller to join our finance team at our Hamburg headquarters. The role offers hands‑on experience in financial reporting, margin analysis, budgeting and internal controls, supporting the financial health of a luxury‑goods organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive margin analysis and planning for the Writing Instruments, Leather and Watches categories, measuring deviations to budget and updating forecasts.
• Act as business partner for the main product categories, analysing contributive and gross margins and evaluating the financial success of new assortments.
• Support the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and assist in budgeting processes.
• Implement and maintain robust processes for margin reporting and forecast execution.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Accounting to align financial planning with operational targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on Controlling.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable controlling or finance position.
• Fluent English communication skills.
