Category Management Intern (m/f/d)

About the role

As an Intern Category Management you will support the Category Management team in handling the Westwing shop portfolio through new product selection and maintenance of the existing offering to secure business and meet sales targets. The position is limited to 6 months and based in Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Support product selection from new and existing premium and contemporary brands.
• Analyse category performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Conduct competitor research in target categories.
• Support assortment strategies within defined categories.
• Collaborate closely with experienced Category Managers and learn how to build a best‑in‑class assortment in Home & Living categories.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a comparable field of study.
• Passion for Home & Living and a strong sense for products, trends, and aesthetics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills combined with a structured working style, high motivation, and curiosity for continuous learning.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
