Certifying Staff (d/m/w) CAT B2 A400M

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Certifying Staff / Support Staff CAT B2 (d/m/w) for line and base maintenance of the A400M military transport aircraft at its Manching site. The role involves supporting A400M customers worldwide with both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Determine and evaluate the conformity of work performed independently or by qualified personnel.
• Approve maintenance work and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Instruct, support and monitor employees without PART66 MAML.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems and rectifying faults.
• Install electrical modifications, retrofits and technical changes.
• Perform functional tests, adjustments and complex electrical system tests.
• Evaluate findings, assess deviations and manage work‑related documentation.
• Execute assembly, disassembly, dismantling and upgrading tasks.

Required profile

• Eligibility for security clearance or existing clearance.
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions.
• Experience in aircraft line and base maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and documentation management.
