Chief Product Officer

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Chief Product Officer to lead product innovation and growth in a fast‑scaling consumer health and wellness company. Based in Germany and working fully remote, you will shape the future portfolio, identify emerging market opportunities, and build systems that enable sustainable innovation at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term product vision, translating innovation into commercial success.
• Lead and develop high‑performing teams across product development, R&D, scientific affairs, regulatory, and quality functions.
• Design and implement product innovation strategies, scouting new categories, ingredients, technologies, and consumer trends.
• Build scalable processes that accelerate development and improve organisational effectiveness.
• Oversee the creation of science‑backed, compliant, differentiated product formulations.
• Ensure quality, consistency, operational efficiency, and supply‑chain resilience throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operations teams to craft successful go‑to‑market strategies.
• Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage emerging technologies and AI‑driven approaches to speed innovation and reduce time‑to‑market.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in product, R&D, or innovation within consumer goods, health, nutrition or related sectors.
• Minimum 5 years leading large product or R&D organisations in supplements, functional foods, or consumer packaged goods.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling consumer products from concept to commercialization.
• Deep expertise in formulation science, ingredient sourcing, regulatory affairs, and product quality management.
• Strong experience building and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent commercial acumen and ability to drive business impact.
