City Lead – General Manager for Berlin

About the role

The City Lead is the general manager of BEAT81’s Berlin operations, responsible for the full commercial performance of the city’s studios. You will own member experience, coach relationships, and the profitability of the market, acting as the entrepreneur for Berlin.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with freelance coaches, serving as the primary operational contact.
• Recruit, onboard and develop studio managers, fitness managers and front‑of‑house staff, fostering a solution‑oriented culture.
• Ensure high hospitality standards, vibrant community atmosphere and a standout studio experience for members.
• Drive Berlin’s growth and profitability by monitoring performance, spotting trends early and implementing strategic actions.
• Set priorities, communicate focus to teams and empower them to execute.
• Leverage BEAT81’s marketing, product, technology and finance resources to support city objectives and share best practices with other locations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience leading multi‑site, people‑heavy operations in hospitality, fitness, retail or a similar sector.
• Proven commercial ownership with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Strong leadership mindset, capable of building high‑performing teams and fostering collaboration.
• Data‑driven decision making and ability to anticipate market changes.
