Clinical Research Physician - Oncology

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Clinical Research Physician specialized in Oncology to join its global development team. This remote position supports the design, execution, and oversight of late‑phase and marketed oncology trials, ensuring scientific rigor and patient safety across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain draft launch labels and value propositions.
• Lead protocol development, study reporting, and data dissemination for global clinical trials.
• Review publications, support labeling updates, and contribute to pricing, reimbursement, and access documentation.
• Ensure adverse events are reported in line with patient‑safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA) and external thought leaders to advance oncology science.
• Serve as a scientific resource for study teams, business unit strategy, and global product planning.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Oncology or related specialty.
• Extensive experience in late‑phase clinical research and post‑marketing studies.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, ICH, CPMP regulations and Good Clinical Practice.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global, remote environment.
