Commercial Legal Counsel – Europe

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded, proactive Commercial Legal Counsel to support our European business operations. Based in Frankfurt, you will act as the primary legal partner for regional commercial activities, helping sales, procurement, supply chain, finance and project teams navigate contracts, compliance and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, distribution, framework and NDA contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice during negotiations, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support business teams in resolving contractual issues throughout project execution.
• Participate in commercial discussions, project reviews and transaction structuring from a legal risk perspective.
• Conduct compliance assessments, monitor EU laws (GDPR, competition, trade sanctions, ESG) and lead related initiatives.
• Coordinate with external law firms, manage corporate governance, entity management and pre‑litigation matters.
• Deliver legal and compliance training and contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial legal expertise and business acumen.
• Experience handling European commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, international environment.
• Ability to provide business‑oriented legal solutions and manage risk effectively.
