Commis de Cuisine – Frühstücksküche (m/w/d)

About the role

Join the breakfast kitchen team at a prestigious hotel in Berlin. As a Commis de Cuisine you will support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, cooking simple dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix ingredients for cooking.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Monitor food temperature, test doneness and ensure consistent quality.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain hygiene of kitchen tools and surfaces.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb for an entire shift.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
