Communications Director

About the role

Honeywell Building Automation is seeking a Communications Director to lead strategic communication initiatives across Europe. Based in Frankfurt (or Ratingen), you will shape the narrative for our automation technology portfolio, supporting internal and external audiences while reinforcing the brand’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified internal and external communications strategy for Honeywell Building Automation in Europe.
• Partner with the global BA communications team, European leadership, and senior executives to align messaging with business objectives.
• Lead content creation, localization, and storytelling that highlights technology, safety, and sustainability benefits.
• Provide direct communications support to the BA Europe President and senior leadership.
• Monitor political, economic, and technological trends to identify relevant stories and opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior communications advisor or director, comfortable advising executives.
• Strong understanding of European market dynamics, including regulatory and technological shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
