Communications Manager – DACH (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

LinkedIn is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to lead public‑relations initiatives across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This 12‑month fixed‑term position will be based in Berlin or Munich and works in a hybrid model, combining remote work with days in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for the DACH market.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, editorial, community and policy teams on integrated campaigns.
• Provide communications counsel to senior executives and leadership.
• Maintain and expand a network of media contacts across German, Austrian and Swiss outlets.
• Create press releases, blog posts, messaging documents and other content.
• Lead proactive B2B, corporate and consumer communications, including crisis and issues management.
• Support global PR initiatives and manage agency relationships as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in consumer, B2B and corporate communications or public relations.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders.
• Strong track record of delivering impactful campaigns in German‑language media.
• Self‑starter with experience in in‑house or agency environments.
