Communications Manager – Streaming Entertainment (Germany)

About the role

Amazon’s Prime Video is building the premier entertainment destination in Germany. As Communications Manager, you will lead public‑relations initiatives for German‑original series, movies, and high‑profile global titles, shaping how audiences discover and engage with our content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies and publicity campaigns for locally produced originals, global exclusives, and the broader Prime Video portfolio.
• Plan and manage premieres, talent interviews, set visits, and press junkets for first‑run content.
• Collaborate with Prime Video teams across Europe, Amazon MGM Studios, and external PR agencies.
• Provide strategic counsel to business partners, content, marketing, social, and advertising teams.
• Ensure consistent messaging across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland while adapting global campaigns to regional nuances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or communications within media, entertainment, or streaming services.
• Strong understanding of the German‑language market and cultural nuances.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and work cross‑functionally across regions.
