Community Manager – German-speaking Market for The Sims

About the role

Electronic Arts is seeking a Community Manager to lead engagement for The Sims across the German‑speaking market. Based in Cologne, you will act as the primary liaison between players and the franchise, fostering healthy community spaces and translating player insights into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow The Sims presence on GSA community platforms such as Discord, forums, Reddit, Steam, and other relevant channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with players, moderators, creators, and community leaders to strengthen engagement and advocacy.
• Translate global creative initiatives into culturally resonant GSA activations and co‑create go‑to‑market plans with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and execute local community programs, events, and engagement initiatives that encourage participation and foster a welcoming environment.
• Surface player insights and feedback to inform development, marketing, and communication decisions.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of online gaming communities and live‑service dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Integrated Communications, Marketing, Creator Relations, and Development teams.
• Passion for The Sims franchise and its player base.
