Construction IT Engineer – Hamburg Site

About the role

We are looking for a Construction IT Engineer to join the Green Diesel Production Project in Hamburg. The role focuses on delivering day‑to‑day IT support for site personnel, ensuring that all hardware, software and network services operate smoothly throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support to users in accordance with internal procedures.
• Set up new user accounts, manage passwords and configure profiles.
• Physically install computers, printers and other peripherals; install and configure operating systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software faults, diagnose network issues and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain and upgrade computer systems and peripheral devices.
• Support the rollout of new hardware and applications across the site.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, including remote assistance for other Group companies.
• Keep accurate records of all IT assets and coordinate maintenance activities with the broader IT team.

Required profile

• Experience providing IT support in an industrial or construction environment.
• Ability to work closely with colleagues from other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Familiarity with the Group’s ICT guidelines and safety procedures.
