Consultant - Insights & Analytics

About the role

Acumetis's Insights & Analytics team helps clients make data-driven decisions in complex markets, combining proprietary real-world data, advanced analytics and therapeutic expertise to cover patient populations, treatment trends, prescribing behaviour, market access and competition across up to 50 countries. As a Consultant in Hamburg, you will generate market data and insights for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, with a focus on rare diseases and specialty pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Generate market data and insights on national and international healthcare markets in pharma and biotech, focusing on rare diseases and specialty pharmacy.
• Solve complex business challenges through data-driven analysis and client-specific recommendations.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders to include primary research in client engagements.
• Carry out secondary research on investor relations materials, treatment guidelines, claims data, scientific publications and public databases, using company AI tools where appropriate.
• Collaborate on quantitative and qualitative data analysis to build financial, market, economic impact, health-economic and product adoption models.
• Develop market landscape presentations, market entry strategies and product positioning strategies.
• Create client presentations and strategic storylines in PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Experience in management consulting within healthcare, pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Fluent German and English.
• Degree in a life science, medical or business discipline; an MBA, PhD, MD or other advanced degree is an advantage.
• Applicants with a medical degree without specialist certification or a pharmacy degree are welcome.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to turn complex information into clear insights.
• Knowledge of rare diseases and global healthcare markets is an advantage.

Required skills

• Analysis of large datasets such as claims data, electronic health records, patient registries or prescription data (strong asset).
• Outstanding writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
