Content Management Assistant – Platform & Engagement

About the role

Join DAZN’s Platform & Engagement team as a Content Management Assistant and help shape how fans in the DACH region discover and experience sports content. This entry‑level position is based in Munich (Ismaning) and offers hands‑on experience in content operations, editorial judgement, and digital publishing.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain accurate metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, classifications, broadcast dates) in line with DAZN standards.
• Apply consistent tags for sport, competition, teams, players, event type, format and editorial themes to optimise search and recommendations.
• Select, upload and quality‑check imagery, ensuring rights compliance and editorial relevance.
• Write clear, engaging German‑language descriptions that match DAZN’s tone of voice.
• Support content ingestion, publishing and scheduling workflows, performing quality checks and flagging issues.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑publication QA on metadata, imagery, descriptions and links.
• Assist with live‑event updates, including previews, line‑ups, highlights and replays.
• Audit and clean up catalogue records regularly to maintain accuracy.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in content management, editorial operations, digital publishing or related internships.
• Basic understanding of metadata, tagging, content classification and digital asset management.
• Interest in DACH sports, especially Bundesliga, Champions League and football events.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn and passion for sport.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic video editing with Adobe Premiere or AVID
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Metadata management and tagging
