Content Moderation Specialist (Remote, Germany)

About the role

We are seeking a Content Moderation Specialist to join our global trust and safety team. In this fully remote position you will review user‑generated content, enforce platform policies and help maintain a safe online environment for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and moderate user‑generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies, community guidelines and legal standards.
• Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful or non‑compliant material such as hate speech, fraud, misinformation and other safety concerns.
• Apply moderation policies consistently while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Escalate sensitive or complex cases to senior teams for further review.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, compliance or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess sensitive content objectively.
• Good understanding of cultural nuances that affect online interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity goals.
