Cyber Security Officer

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Cyber Security Officer to join the team supporting the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brussels. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining cyber security solutions that protect NATO’s communication networks and information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cyber security architectures for NATO‑related projects.
• Support secure system development and integration across command and control, satellite communications and electronic warfare domains.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage security compliance and oversee security operations.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate remediation actions.
• Collaborate with NATO International Civilians, military personnel and interim workforce consultants to ensure a high‑performance security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and operating cyber security solutions for complex, high‑security environments.
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance frameworks and incident response processes.
• Ability to work within multinational defence and government projects.
