Gulf Associates is seeking a remote Data Analyst Intern to support commercial research and counter‑party analysis for a major logistics partner. You will turn raw market data into clear insights that help senior decision‑makers evaluate complex investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and organize data from multiple sources to map market behavior.
• Maintain and update Excel models that test commercial scenarios.
• Research counterparties and competitors to identify current trends.
• Prepare charts and tables that simplify complex data for senior executives.
• Audit internal reports for numerical accuracy.
• Monitor trade flows and port activity to spot shifts in the logistics sector.
• Assist in drafting briefing notes for sovereign entities and CEOs ahead of negotiations.

Required profile

• Background in economics, finance, or a related analytical field.
• Strong logical mindset and curiosity about commercial deal structures.
• Excellent written communication focused on clarity and factual reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot errors in complex documents.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Interest in the logistics industry and the interaction between state and private capital.

Required skills
