About the role

Join Amazon Web Services' Infrastructure Services team as a Data Center Technician Trainee in the Frankfurt area. This 12‑month work‑based learning program combines on‑the‑job training with hands‑on experience supporting AWS data centers, ensuring high availability and reliability for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced AWS Data Technicians with hardware and network troubleshooting.
• Resolve internal tickets related to server components (motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU) and networking issues (link down, optics, switch replacements).
• Perform hardware repairs such as SSD/HDD and motherboard replacements under supervision.
• Follow AWS Data Technicians during network troubleshooting and adhere to SLA requirements.
• Interact with third‑party vendors and on‑site contractors as needed.

Required profile

• Motivation to learn data‑center operations and follow detailed guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with senior technicians and vendors.
