Data Governance Responsible – Engineering (m/f/d)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Data Governance Responsible to join its Engineering department in Donauwörth. You will support the Export Control & National Security and Data Leadership & Quality teams, ensuring high‑quality engineering data throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and clean key business objects and PLM attributes.
• Understand impacts of engineering PLM metadata and define master values.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes linked to data quality.
• Conduct in‑depth process analyses and implement targeted optimisation measures.
• Contribute to the strategic development of Data Quality Rules.
• Provide creative problem‑solving and innovative ideas within the team.

Required profile

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Practical experience in a design office and solid knowledge of engineering data management.
• Strong sense of responsibility, professional composure and excellent teamwork skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German or French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Technical PLM systems expertise.
• Experience with SAP as a key user for PLM release processes.
• Knowledge of Data Quality & Governance frameworks (e.g., PPS, Master Data Management).
• Business Process Mapping capabilities.
