Data Scientist (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Data Scientist contractor to help train next‑generation AI systems. You will work with real‑world data, shaping how models learn, reason and perform, without needing prior AI experience – your domain expertise is key.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and preprocess diverse data sets to ensure quality and readiness for analysis.
• Develop, validate and implement statistical and predictive models to extract actionable insights.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns and business opportunities.
• Create compelling visualisations and reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members throughout the end‑to‑end data project lifecycle.
• Continuously improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Strong background in statistics, mathematics and data analysis techniques.
• Proven experience handling large, complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and modelling.
• Experience building and validating predictive models.
• Advanced data visualisation skills using Tableau, Power BI or similar libraries.
• Meticulous attention to data quality and detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
