Deputy Responsible Person – Pharmaceutical Quality & Compliance

About the role

You will work alongside the Responsible Person (RP) in a pharmaceutical wholesale environment, supporting quality and compliance activities while gradually taking on more responsibility. The position combines onsite work at our Ludwigsfelde warehouse with remote days, offering a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Support the RP in maintaining and developing a GDP‑compliant quality system.
• Participate in implementing legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., § 52a AMG, § 2 AM‑HandelsV).
• Assist with recalls, complaint handling, self‑inspections, and decisions on returned or recalled medicines.
• Contribute to supplier qualification and approval of outsourced activities.
• Help plan and deliver training courses.
• Maintain and control quality‑relevant documentation.
• Support creation and implementation of Quality Technical Agreements (QTAs).
• Represent the RP during absences after appropriate training and approval.

Required profile

• Professional experience in pharmaceutical wholesale or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience as a Deputy RP or in a comparable QA‑related role.
• Strong knowledge of GDP requirements.
• Completed studies in pharmacy, biology, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Structured, meticulous, and independent work style with high quality awareness.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Word.
• Proficient use of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (nice to have).
