Design Engineer II – PCB & Mechanical Design

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer II to lead PCB and mechanical design for our next generation servo‑drive family extensions. You will create EMC‑compliant multilayer PCBs and integrate mechanical components, ensuring high‑quality solutions for sophisticated drive technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout complex multilayer PCBs that meet EMC requirements.
• Develop mechanical designs for servo‑drive extensions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including developers, designers, and production.
• Conduct design reviews to guarantee quality and compliance.
• Maintain and optimise 2D/3D libraries and CAE tool databases in an international setting.
• Produce complete layout documentation and coordinate technical details with suppliers, purchasing and production facilities.
• Serve as the primary contact for ECAD/MCAD topics across internal and external departments.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• PCB design and layout (multilayer, EMC‑compliant).
• Mechanical design for servo‑drives.
• Proficiency with ECAD and MCAD tools.
• Experience managing 2D and 3D libraries and CAE databases.
• Technical documentation creation.
