DevOps Engineer – AWS Cloud & Crossplane (Hybrid, Frankfurt)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise‑grade cloud platforms in a highly regulated environment. The role is based in Frankfurt and follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to define platform and infrastructure requirements.
• Design cloud architectures and migration strategies for AWS‑based solutions.
• Build, deploy, and manage development, testing, and production environments using Infrastructure‑as‑Code and GitOps practices.
• Implement and maintain platform components with Crossplane, Flux, ArgoCD, and OpenTofu.
• Create and operate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable build, release, and deployment processes.
• Provide on‑call support, monitor platform stability, and drive performance improvements.
• Define monitoring, automation, and testing frameworks to enhance reliability and security.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineer in large‑scale enterprise settings.
• More than 6 years designing and operating AWS‑based platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Crossplane, Flux, and related cloud‑native tooling.
• Strong background in Kubernetes administration, including managed services.
• Experience working in highly regulated, security‑focused environments.
