DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform (Berlin)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing European fintech that is redefining investment product launches. As a DevOps Engineer you will own cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, security and developer enablement in a modern AWS‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Operate and optimise Kubernetes/EKS clusters at scale.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Improve platform observability, monitoring and reliability using OpenTelemetry and DataDog.
• Support engineering teams with internal tooling and developer platforms.
• Drive cloud security, IAM best practices and compliance in a regulated fintech environment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long‑term platform strategy.

Required profile

• Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience operating production AWS environments at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS in enterprise or cloud‑native settings.
• Background in fintech, SaaS, regulated environments or high‑growth startups is a plus.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally within lean engineering teams.
