DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our fast‑growing European fintech. You will own cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, security and developer enablement in a modern AWS‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Improve platform observability, monitoring and reliability.
• Support engineering teams with scalable internal tooling and developer platforms.
• Drive cloud security, IAM best practices and compliance in a regulated fintech setting.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long‑term platform strategy.

Required profile

• Strong DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
• Hands‑on experience operating production AWS environments at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS in enterprise or cloud‑native contexts.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, regulated environments or fast‑growth startups is a plus.
• Comfortable working cross‑functionally within lean engineering teams.
