DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a leading IT consulting firm that drives digital transformation and custom software development. You will work closely with development teams to build, automate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure scalable cloud infrastructures using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Set up and provision environments rapidly and reliably for new projects.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with developers to refine processes, troubleshoot issues, and support feature roll‑outs.
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems in production using observability data.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, especially in automation and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Ability to work in agile teams and communicate fluently in German and English.
