DevOps Engineer

About the role

This remote‑first position is for a DevOps Engineer based in Germany. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience, helping international teams deliver reliable digital products faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal services and tools using Go to support deployment automation.
• Build, optimise and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines, primarily with GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes‑based production and pre‑production environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions with Terraform and Ansible.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and alerting using Grafana, OpenSearch and related observability platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and software delivery processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong automation mindset and ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
• Proven experience delivering reliable, scalable production infrastructure.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) development for production services.
• Kubernetes administration and operations.
• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• GitLab CI/CD (or comparable CI/CD tools).
• Linux system administration.
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and OpenSearch.
