DevOps Engineer – Secure Communications (Munich)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Secure Communications division of a globally recognised manufacturer of secure communication and test equipment. The role is based in Munich and focuses on building and maintaining the software delivery platform for tactical radio systems used in defence and government programmes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts within an agile Scrum team.
• Write code and scripts to automate release builds, improving speed, reliability and repeatability.
• Deliver Scrum team work packages on schedule and within budget.
• Support and coordinate CI/CD activities across other development teams.
• Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor technology trends and propose enhancements to the toolchain and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Solid experience in software development and DevOps in a high‑assurance environment.
• Business‑fluent German (C1/C2) and English (B2+).
• EU or NATO nationality.
