DevOps Engineer – Sovereign Cloud Delivery (Germany)

About the role

Join SAP’s newly built Cloud Delivery Germany team as a DevOps Engineer focused on the Sovereign Cloud. You will help design, operate and optimise a multi‑tenant cloud landscape for regulated industries in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor and optimise the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany.
• Set up multi‑system architecture and integrate heterogeneous technologies.
• Provide on‑call support for incidents and performance degradations.
• Continuously improve implementation documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance cloud operation processes.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on technical issues while collaborating across time zones.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work 24/7 on‑call shifts and maintain daily office presence.
• Readiness to undergo a governmental security clearance.
