Director, Forma Industry Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to define the strategy for a next‑generation cloud platform that transforms the architecture, engineering, construction and operations (AECO) industry. Based in Germany, you will guide long‑term product and go‑to‑market direction, turning market intelligence, customer insights and emerging AI technologies into actionable business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the long‑term strategy and go‑to‑market plan for the industry cloud platform, identifying growth opportunities and competitive differentiation.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, market intelligence and AI‑driven insights to create strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Shape pricing, packaging, portfolio positioning and adoption strategies to maximize customer value.
• Develop executive‑level frameworks, strategic briefs and recommendations for leadership decision‑making.
• Act as senior evangelist, representing the platform with customers, partners, analysts and at industry events.
• Partner with product teams to ensure strategy aligns with customer needs and market trends.
• Align cross‑functional stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, customer success and corporate strategy.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing strategy team across globally distributed locations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, product management, go‑to‑market, management consulting or related leadership roles, with significant exposure to the AEC industry.
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes in complex, matrixed organisations.
• Deep understanding of architecture, engineering, construction and digital transformation trends.
• Experience developing go‑to‑market, pricing and commercial frameworks for technology products or platforms.
