Director, Healthcare Compliance EMEA Regional Lead

About the role

The Director, Healthcare Compliance EMEA Regional Lead will shape and execute the compliance strategy for DePuy Synthes across Central & Eastern Europe, Mid‑size and Trade markets, Russia and other key EMEA territories. Reporting to global compliance, the role also serves as the Compliance Officer for Germany, providing end‑to‑end leadership for ethical business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement the EMEA Healthcare Compliance strategy in line with global objectives.
• Partner with senior commercial, medical and functional leaders to ensure compliant execution of business initiatives.
• Oversee compliance programs related to commercial, medical and customer engagement activities across the region.
• Collaborate with Legal, Medical Affairs, Quality, Finance and other functions to identify, assess and mitigate regional compliance risks.
• Guide investigations, audit issue management and remediation activities together with Legal and Ethics teams.
• Ensure effective monitoring, auditing and reporting processes for continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of HCC professionals, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Support business transformation initiatives while maintaining compliance standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in healthcare or medical‑device compliance.
• Deep knowledge of EMEA regulatory environments and ability to navigate complex, diverse markets.
• Strong partnership skills with commercial, medical, legal and finance functions.
• Track record of managing investigations, audits and risk‑mitigation programs.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities with senior executives.
