Director, International Competition Law Compliance

About the role

Delivery Hero is seeking a Director to lead its International Competition Law Compliance function within the Global Antitrust and Trade Law team. This senior leadership position will shape and oversee a worldwide compliance programme that safeguards the company’s growth while meeting complex regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the global competition law compliance programme.
• Lead and develop a team of competition law experts across multiple regions.
• Provide proactive legal advice to senior and local business leaders on strategic initiatives, competition risks and regulatory investigations.
• Manage and coordinate competition law investigations, including dawn raids, ensuring clear communication with senior management.
• Translate regulatory developments into practical, business‑focused guidance.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer with at least 8 + years post‑qualification experience, preferably from leading law firms.
• Proven track record in competition/antitrust law across EU and international jurisdictions.
• Experience advising multinational corporations on complex regulatory matters.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of EU and international competition law.
• Expertise in handling regulatory investigations and dawn raids.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into actionable business guidance.
