Director of CPG Sales – DACH

About the role

Pinterest is seeking a Director to lead its Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales in the DACH region. Reporting to the Managing Director, Sales (DACH), you will shape the monetisation strategy for one of Europe’s largest markets and guide a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the CPG sales strategy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Build, train and motivate a diverse team of senior sellers, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Develop and deepen relationships with CPG advertisers, agency partners and industry associations.
• Close strategic partnerships and scale revenue across the CPG portfolio.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring key sales metrics and collaborating with Sales Operations and Measurement teams.
• Contribute to DACH country leadership and collaborate across verticals.
• Serve as an external spokesperson, promoting Pinterest’s value proposition in the region.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry.
• 5+ years of management experience leading sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, marketing or a related field.
