Director of Sales

About the role

The Hoxton is opening its second hotel in Germany in Hamburg and is looking for a dynamic Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy and drive revenue across all market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic commercial plans together with the General Manager and Director of Revenue.
• Lead, recruit, and develop the sales team to achieve high performance and revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with regional and brand sales leads, as well as the global Accor sales network.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to stay ahead of rivals.
• Collaborate with operations, brand, revenue, digital, graphics, and PR teams to align initiatives and enhance guest experience.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, negotiate rates, and maximize market share.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of senior sales experience, preferably within the Parisian hotel market.
• Proven passion for hotel sales and a results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to introduce structured processes in a fast‑paced, flexible environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing teams.
• Analytical, methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution‑focused approach.
