Director, Planning Value Stream

About the role

As a Director on the Global Value Stream team, you will lead the design, harmonisation and continuous improvement of planning processes across HelloFresh’s worldwide supply chain. The role initially focuses on Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and will evolve as the team matures.

Key responsibilities

• Define the future global process architecture and multi‑year capability roadmap for demand, supply and S&OP, ensuring a scalable forecast‑to‑supply pipeline.
• Drive alignment and governance among senior operational leaders across regions to adopt global planning standards.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to shape the planning technology strategy and prioritise roadmap investments.
• Establish operating models for planning exceptions, deviation control and global S&OP cadence, decision rights and escalation paths.
• Lead Lighthouse Projects, creating design and acceptance criteria for new harmonised blueprints and overseeing pilot validation.
• Set methodology for cross‑market maturity assessments and translate capability gaps into measurable improvement programmes.
• Define plan quality and S&OP performance frameworks in collaboration with Finance and Analytics.
• Mentor Associate Directors and develop senior planning talent.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or S&OP at a global scale.
• Proven ability to influence senior commercial, operational and technology leaders.
• Strong strategic thinking and governance‑building skills.
• Experience leading large, cross‑functional teams and complex transformation programmes.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning and S&OP processes.
• Knowledge of planning technology platforms and roadmap development.
• Ability to design operating models, governance structures and performance frameworks.
