Director, PR & Communications – EMEA (6‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a Director of PR & Communications for the EMEA region on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Germany, you will lead the development and execution of high‑impact public‑relations strategies that support globally visible campaigns across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR and communications strategies aligned with global priorities and campaign objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier journalists across news, entertainment, policy and lifestyle outlets.
• Identify, shape and pitch compelling stories that amplify organisational impact and executive thought leadership.
• Oversee PR execution for major campaigns, events, partnerships and special initiatives across multiple international markets.
• Manage external PR agencies to ensure consistent messaging and strong performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, policy, partnerships and senior leadership.
• Plan and execute press activities, including events, briefings, interviews and media activations.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in public relations, communications or media, preferably in global campaigns, entertainment, politics or advocacy.
• Extensive network of media contacts across top‑tier EMEA outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear messaging.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale PR campaigns, press events and media activations internationally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures, time zones and senior stakeholder groups.
