Electrical Service & Commissioning Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Service & Commissioning Technician to join an innovative engineering company that develops specialist equipment for the industrial additive manufacturing sector. The role combines hands‑on service, commissioning, and testing of advanced industrial machinery with occasional travel across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, service and maintain specialist industrial equipment on‑site and at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and electromechanical faults.
• Perform electrical wiring, panel wiring and work on electrical cabinets.
• Build and operate internal test stands for product validation.
• Assemble, repair and modify equipment and prototype systems.
• Deliver “Train the Trainer” sessions for OEM customer service technicians.
• Produce and update service documentation and technical work instructions.
• Support continuous product improvements together with the engineering team.

Required profile

• Experience servicing, maintaining or commissioning industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical wiring, cabinets and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding and troubleshooting experience.
• Fluent English communication skills and a full driving licence.

• Salary €55,000‑€65,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
• Hybrid working model: 3 days on‑site, 2 days remote
