Electronics Developer – Level 2 (Defence)

About the role

As an Electronics Developer (Level 2) you will join NAXCON's defence division in Wedel, Germany. You will lead the design and validation of complex electronic assemblies, ensuring they meet stringent performance and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft specifications and test plans for highly complex electronic assemblies.
• Assess cooling, shock, vibration, EMC and manufacturability across assemblies.
• Provide technical leadership for circuit diagram development and assembly commissioning.
• Supervise and execute PCB routing activities.
• Maintain documentation such as specification templates, design rules and manufacturing specs.
• Make critical design decisions throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Optoelectronics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in electronics development within an industrial environment.
• Proven track record creating circuit diagrams and layouts for complex PCBs.
• Strong command of technical English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Optoelectronics knowledge.
• PCB routing and layout expertise.
• Familiarity with Mentor Graphics or SPICE simulation tools.
• Very good knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
