ELV Project Manager

About the role

The ELV Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and ICT systems for a major engineering contractor in Frankfurt. Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, you will ensure that all ELV scope elements are executed on time, to quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan resources, including labour, materials and sub‑contractors for ELV installations.
• Review IFC/design drawings, raise and track RFIs and technical queries, and support BIM coordination to produce construction and fabrication drawings.
• Contribute to RAMS, method statements and permit‑to‑work packages.
• Align engineering tasks with the project schedule, prepare take‑offs, Engineering Materials Reports and track procurement/submittals.
• Supervise on‑site installation quality for ICT & AV infrastructure, BMS/DCOS, fire detection & alarm, fire radio link, physical security, controls containment and cable management.
• Support testing, commissioning and ensure compliance with IEC, ISO, EN and TIA standards.
• Issue weekly engineering progress and risk updates, escalating constraints to the Electrical Project Manager.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the electrical/mechanical construction sector.
• Proven experience with ELV systems, including security, mechanical and fire alarm installations.
• Strong background in electrical works and a trade‑level understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multidisciplinary projects.
