EMEA Tax Specialist – Corporate Income Tax & Transfer Pricing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Tax Specialist to join Hitachi Digital’s global tax function. The role focuses on direct tax matters across the EMEA region, with particular responsibility for Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Transfer Pricing (TP) and tax provisioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage CIT, TP and tax provisioning for multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support tax reporting processes.
• Prepare, review and file tax returns, calculate tax liabilities and maintain accurate tax records.
• Conduct tax research, monitor regulatory changes and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Support tax audits, structuring initiatives and cross‑functional business projects.
• Act as a trusted tax advisor to Finance, Legal, Sales and Operations teams.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead complex tax matters independently and drive tax‑related projects.

Required profile

• Strong background in corporate income tax and transfer pricing within an international environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across geographies and business units.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience liaising with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors.
• Fluent English; additional European language(s) a plus.
